Winter Weather Preparation

HOW TO REPORT OUTAGES
Call 800-521-2450
Remember to call any time your power is out (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) and do not assume that others have reported the outage. Once you make your outage report, please do not report the outage again unless an emergency arises.
Use Our Website or Mobile App
Clay County Electric’s free online bill payment system also allows you to report an outage. Log in to SmartHub and click on “Report An Outage” under Quick Links.
You must register to use SmartHub if you have not. To sign up for SmartHub, click on SmartHub and follow the instructions. This application is available in the App Store and Google Play.
Clay County Electric Cooperative offers you the ability to report an outage via text. After you sign up for text notifications, you will be notified of future power outages by text and will be sent a text when your power is restored. Sign up for text alerts on our website.
*It is free to sign up for this service, however your mobile provider's standard rates for sending and receiving text messages still apply.
