Delegates Selected for Educational Youth Tour

Delegates Selected for Educational Youth Tour

Clay County Electric Cooperative has selected two delegates to represent the co-op on the 2025 Youth Tour, an all-expenses-paid educational trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Presley Agee of Pocahontas and Mac Lunsford of Corning will explore the nation’s capital June 14-20 with delegates from the other Arkansas electric cooperatives.

The group will join approximately 2,000 students from across the United States in the nation’s capital. During the trip, they’ll learn about electric cooperatives, tour historic sites, monuments and museums and meet members of the Arkansas congressional delegation.

High school juniors may apply for the Youth Tour each year. Applications for the 2026 Youth Tour will be available in January at claycountyelectric.com, at co-op offices and in high school counselors’ offices.
