Calling All Young Artists: Design the 2024 Clay County Electric Christmas Card!
Clay County Electric is excited to invite elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade to unleash their creativity and submit their Christmas card designs to be featured as the official 2024 Clay County Electric Christmas card! This special card will be mailed to friends of Clay County Electric, legislators, and businesses throughout the area.
The talented young artist who wins will not only have their artwork showcased on this year's Christmas card but will also receive a certificate recognizing their achievement and a $50 gift card. Additionally, the winning design will be highlighted on our website, Facebook page, and Arkansas Living magazine, giving the artist a moment to shine!

Clay County Electric Cooperative Christmas Card Design Contest Rules:

All students from K through 5th grade are eligible to participate.

Students must attend a private, public or home school in the counties of Clay; Greene; Randolph; Butler, MO; Ripley, MO, or Oregon, MO.

Any medium or combination of medium may be used including drawing, crayons, watercolor, oil, acrylic paint, pastel, chalk, etc. Do not use glitter, please!

Submissions should be on 8 1/2” x 11” in size in a horizontal (landscape) format.

One entry per student. A signed entry form is required.

Artwork must be an original creation. Submissions can be in color or in black and white.

The artwork must include elements such as a bucket truck, power lines, a lineman, Willie Wirehand or similar representations of the electrical industry.

Greetings may also be included with cover designs, but CCECC maintains the right to select the final greeting.

Each entry must clearly indicate the student’s name, age, grade, teacher and school on the reverse side of the artwork.

The winning student’s name will appear on the card.

Deadline for entries is October 31st, 2024.
