Annual Meeting and Election
As you know, you have a voice in how your Cooperative is run. One way to make your voice heard is to vote on candidates seeking election to the board of directors. This year, ballots and member surveys will be mailed out to all members on June 10, 2019. Survey & Ballot Systems, a company specializing in member surveys and corporate elections, was chosen to manage the election. Members need to verify information at the top of the survey: phone number, address and email address. This contact information is used for location purposes when reporting outages. Members are also to follow the instructions on the ballot to cast their vote. Prompt return of the survey and ballot in the enclosed business reply envelope will enter the member in the prize drawings. Surveys and ballots cannot be returned to the Cooperative. Please complete and mail survey with ballot in the postage paid return envelope in time to arrive by June 26, 2019 to be eligible. Winners will be selected from all that return the survey on time. All winners will be notified via phone and announcement will be posted on our Facebook page by June 28, 2019.
Our Annual Meeting will be held in the Community Room at the Corning Office on Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. to conduct old and new business. Director election results will be announced during the meeting and posted immediately after the announcement on Clay County Electric Cooperative’s website and Facebook . This will be a business session only. No attendance prizes will be awarded, and there will be no entertainment.
Watch the mail for your survey and ballot. Be sure to return your survey to be entered into prize drawings and your ballot to VOTE!
